Fuel produces a lot of harmful substances in the combustion chamber of the engine, usually 1-5 pounds of nitrogen and sulfuric acid per 100 gallons of gasoline. Corrosion and wear
The engine is cooled from high temperature to low temperature after shutdown. This temperature change will cause water condensation and water accumulation in the engine. This is also the problem that lubricants can not solve.

Cold start dry friction
General Motors research shows that when the engine stops running for four hours, all the lubricating oil on the friction interface will return to the oil tank. At this point, starting the engine, because the oil pump is too late to hit the lubrication parts, a short period of time will produce periodic loss of dry friction lubrication, resulting in serious abnormal engine wear. This strong wear is absolutely impossible for lubricating oil to solve. (other related studies indicate that this strong wear accounts for more than 70% of the total engine wear).
